八ヶ岳アートブックフェア は、ゆったりとした時間が流れる八ヶ岳に、地元・他地域のアーティスト、出版社、書店、ギャラリー 、そして農家、養鶏場、猟師など広義な意味でのクリエイター、共謀者などが交差する場をつくるアートブックフェアという名のお祭りです。

 

GASBOOK を手がけるGAS AS INTERFACEが、山梨・北杜の拠点であるGASBON METABOLISMにて開催します。八ヶ岳の雄大な自然とGASBONのひろびろとした空間のなかで、この地域を愛する人々とともに、新たな創造と対話を生み出します。

 

展示とプログラム

アートブック／ZINEに限らず、さまざまな展示・販売、イベント、ワークショップ、フードなど50組以上の出展を予定。「アートブックフェア」という名前にとらわれず、アーティストのための施設であるGASBONならではの、遊び心あふれる自由な展示・販売・散策・インスタレーション・パフォーマンスが行われます。

The Yatsugatake Art Book Fair is a festival in the form of a book fair, held in the slow-paced environment of Yatsugatake. It brings together a wide range of creators and collaborators, including local and non-local artists, publishers, bookstores, galleries, as well as farmers, poultry farmers, and hunters.
​
The fair is organized by GAS AS INTERFACE, the publisher of GASBOOK, and held at their Yamanashi / Hokuto-based space GASBON METABOLISM. Within the vast natural surroundings of Yatsugatake and the spacious architecture of GASBON, we aim to create new forms of creativity and dialogue together with people who love this region.

In addition to art books and zines, a variety of exhibitions and sales will be held, including artist talks, artist walks, goats, workshops, and food trucks.

We encourage exhibitors not to feel limited by the label “art book fair,” and to instead embrace the playful and open spirit of GASBON, a space designed for artists. We welcome creative presentations in any form: exhibitions, sales, walks, installations, performances, and more.
